You’re a team player

You’ll be joining a dynamic team and playing an important role in the development of our products. You’ll be the main point of contact for Hilscher colleagues for all matters related to software testing and maintenance of our test tools. The development team will depend on your technical skills and expertise when launching and implementing “Built-in Quality”.

You’re a consummate professional

With your professional expertise you’ll be in charge of the management of test cases, from the proof of concept and final design to the implementation and analysis.

You’re analytical and innovative

Test concepts, test environments, and simulation models have to keep pace with product development. Ongoing development in these areas will be your core responsibilities. You’ll also be actively involved in the development of new solutions, e.g., test automation.

 

Formal qualifications

You have a degree in computer science, automation, electronics, or a comparable field, or formal training in an apprenticeship in one of these fields. Preferably you also have ISTQB certification.

Computer skills

You’re well-versed in computer programming languages, ideally Python and C#, TypeScript or similar. You have basic knowledge of Linux command line and a general interest in IoT systems. You’re familiar with various developer tools and test tools (e.g., Git/Bitbucket, GUI / web test frameworks, JIRA. With the above qualifications you have what it takes to be part of the team!

Mindset

You’re a team player, have excellent communication skills, and work conscientiously. You think and work independently and you’re well organized. You like to take the initiative and rise to the challenge. You’re results and solutions oriented.

Language skills

You’re able to communicate confidently and effectively, both written and spoken, in German and English (B2 level or higher).
