    Whoever said numbers were boring?

    With your knack for numbers and organizational skills you’re in high demand. Your job is to keep all the company’s finances in check. Turn numbers and data into business-relevant financial statements and reports for internal and external reporting. You’ll play an integral role in creating monthly and annual financial statements, statistical reports and intercompany balance sheets.

    You know your stuff.

    Challenges in commercial law and financial accounting awaken your inner Sherlock Holmes. You never give up until every last detail is accounted for and can be explained.

    You take responsibility.

    You’ll be responsible for the bookkeeping of fixed assets, general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as for travel expenses.

    You have foresight.

    Your expertise in cash flow planning is in demand. You can handle payment transactions confidently and reliably. With your expertise you’ll also be actively involved in the development and enhancement of processes and systems in financial accounting but also in other areas of the company.

    You’ll be joining a team and working on exciting projects. Currently, a new document management system, D-velop, is being introduced in the company. This new system will enable us to securely archive all documents in compliance with GoBD and to sustainably optimize our workflows in accounting.
    A further project will be in focus this year and next, which will offer numerous challenges: migrating to a new ERP system. All locations, 11 in total worldwide, will be migrating from Navision to Microsoft 365 BC.

    Your profile
    Formal qualifications

    You have formal training in business administration, as well as several years of experience in finance and accounting. Additional qualifications as an accountant are an asset.
    You’re very familiar with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and tax code, and you actively keep yourself up to date on the latest changes.
    You have a solid understanding of good business practices and processes and know what to look for.

    Mindset

    You are a team player with strong organizational and communication skills. You think and work independently, strategically and process-oriented. You can quickly grasp complex issues and are able to organize them and identify priorities.

    Computer skills

    You’re familiar with MS Office applications and already have experience working with an ERP system (ideally with MS D365 BC).

    Language skills

    You are able to communicate confidently and effectively, both written and spoken, in German and English.
